About Us

Mission Statement:
Our prayer is that SBCHEA will unite the teaching ministries of the church and home for Kingdom Education.


What is Kingdom Education?
"Kingdom Education is the life-long, Bible-based, Christ-centered process of leading a child into a new identity with Christ and developing him/her according to the specific abilities given to him/her by Christ so that the child will be empowered to live a life characterized by love, trust, and obedience to Christ."

Who Are We?
SBCHEA is a grassroots effort composed of Southern Baptist homeschooling families, pastors, professors, and theologians. An unexpected blessing has been the participation of many pastors' wives, excited to finally have a source of support and encouragement, while placing the ministry to their children above the ministry of the church.
